                                                                Rev Fr Vijay Thomas

           The Rev. Fr. Vijay Abraham Thomas, son of the Rev. Fr. T. A. Thomas and Mrs. Annamma Thomas, was born and raised in the New York/New Jersey area. He started working as an engineer after earning his bachelor's degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering. He quit his work to enroll in St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in Yonkers, New York, and pursued his studies of liturgy at Old Theological Seminary in Kottayam, India, after realizing his desire to serve God.

                                 Rev Dr Mathew C Chacko

The Saints Basilios-Gregorios Orthodox Church of Central Jersey [SBGOC] was founded by Rev. Fr. Mathew C. Chacko. On October 1, 2000, the feast day of Saint Basilios of Kothamangalam, Achen held the first Holy Qurbana for the crowd. Since then, he has been overseeing the congregation. Fr. Chacko resides in East Brunswick, New Jersey, with his wife Ruthamma Chacko.
